We came to our first Shag Dance while visiting in Beaufort. Enjoyed the great people we met and look forward to joining once we retire and move there for good! Great website, by the way!! We are watching the dance lessons on YouTube - Thanks for the info about it.

Wow !! What a halloween party you had. I so missed the event of the year. I was helping raise money for the child abuse prevention association doing the annual ghost tours. All dressed up and was supposed to be there but didn't get finished until after 11 PM. I WILL be there next year !!

Hey, I grew up in the south and during high school and college lived in Columbus, GA. We use to go to Panama City, FL for spring breaks, etc. There we danced the Panama City Bop. It's similar to the SC Shag, I think. Am I right? I am considering taking lessons in September when they start up again. Judith

Great club! Took shag lessons in 9th grade(long time ago)but have not been on the floor for some time. Fun for young and old alike. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.
